Thanks for visiting our website! We are Mike and Nina Danford and we have a passion (or obsession) for traveling God’s green earth. Collectively, we have been blessed with opportunities to visit over 80 countries and territories across 6 continents (so far…). We have frequently been asked to start a blog site to share our travel experiences and pictures. This site is probably less about blogging and more about sharing pictures of our travels and providing interesting or useful information. We are happy to share!
We have standardized our format for each place of interest starting with a flag of the country represented, some information about our experience (but hopefully not an overwhelming or boring amount of information), followed by many pictures, maps where needed, interesting facts & figures, and any travel tips from our experience. We even include the local currency and a picture of a representative currency note. We even think it’s fun to see the variety and beauty of the many currency notes around the world.
There are so many amazing and beautiful places to visit in this big wide world, both places of natural beauty and man made marvels, as well as amazing cultures. We will continue to share wherever we are fortunate enough to visit.
This site is a work in progress so please be patient. We hope you enjoy our site. Please feel free to provide feedback via email at worldlytrekker@gmail.com. Happy travels!
Cheers!
Genesis 1:31 – Then God looked over all He had created and He saw that it was very good!
If you are a worldwide trekker like us and want to become more ‘worldly’, then you will want to try our books below. Thanks to the former British Empire and current Commonwealth, the English language is widely spoken across the world; however, it is spoken quite differently depending on where you are traveling. We believe the books below are essential to worldly trekkers and think you will find them both fun and informative. The books include a dictionary of everyday words and phrases, traditional cuisine, some history and culture, and other handy information.
